DEBORAH GERRISH is an award winning poet whose poems have appeared or are forthcoming inPaterson Literary Review, Lips, Ararat, Adanna Literary Journal, Exit 13, Journal of New Jersey Poets, The Stillwater Review, and various anthologies. Her latest collection of poems, The Language of Paisley was published in2012 and in 2008, her chapbook, The Language of Rain was published. In 2003 she received an Edward FryFellowship for scholarship for research work at Rutger’s University and received her Ed. D. in Literacy Education in 2004. She taught English for over thirty years in the NJ public schools and is VP of Programs for Women Who Write, Inc. She resides in central New Jersey where she teaches poetry writing.
