Index Art Center - Art Cycle! Open Call Deadline: Friday, February 10
Art Cycle is an exhibition of bicycle inspired art. Marcel Duchamp created his most famous Readymade Bicycle Wheel in 1913. Over the last century the influence of the bicycle on art is as diverse and far reaching as the two wheel machine itself. Bikes have been used as kinetic sculptures, muses for painters and photographers, and as a blank canvas for artists and innovators alike. This exhibition, once again, hopes to capture the spirit of the bicycle and its place on contemporary art. More info
