The salesman's English

is pretty poor

but he sold ten cars

this week, he smiled.

His wife and child

live in Colombia.

Manny's been too busy

to learn the language.

In three or six months

his boy will come

but not the mom.

She's not ready.

Her forms were rejected.

You like the car, Mr. Tom?

he manages as other

customers wait.

Here's a picture, he hands

me his cell phone

with a little boy on the screen,

the son he's never seen.

Who Do We Vote For???

Did you hear the latest on Sen. John McCain's Health Plan?

Eat right and exercise. Stay healthy.

That's it.

Except, of course, that he thinks that corporate America should not have to foot the bill

for our health care.

McCain states that he would implement an option where citizens could buy their own insurance at

affordable rates.

Preexisting conditions?

Oh well. "Stay healthy," he says.

The problem is that health care is getting more expensive. So, if the government doesn't subsidize in some way, the majority of Americans will not be able to afford any health insurance.

On top of a 100 year war, our current economy (and his lack of a plan), and the environmental issues that we face, is this who you want to run your country?

I know that our current options are sadly lacking, but, surely any of the others are better than

McCain.
