Amanda Berry’s first chapbook, Second Sight, was published by Finishing Line Press in December 2005. Berry’s poems have appeared in Birmingham Poetry Review, Edison Literary Review, English Journal, and in the online literary journal Identity Theory (identitytheory.com). Her work has also appeared in the anthology Monmouth County: A Poetic Portrait. She has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She has been a featured reader at Barron Arts Center in Woodbridge, in the PoetsWednesday Series, and at Watchung Booksellers in Montclair. She has also read at the Red Bank Public Library and for the Delaware Valley Poets series at Barnes and Noble in Princeton. Berry teaches eighth grade English at Kent Place School in Summit, New Jersey. She lives in Garwood, New Jersey.
