FALL FOLIAGE PLEIN AIR PAINTING -

WORKSHOP RETREAT

at Good Commons in Plymouth,Vermont

September 26-29th, 2011 

En plein air is a French expression which means “in the open air”, specifically in regards to painting out of doors. Just as Monet, Cezanne, and VanGogh made Nature their studio, you are invited to paint with professional artist/instructor Lizzi Shippert in the awe-inspiring autumn beauty of south-central Vermont.

In this workshop, Lizzi will guide you in understanding & depicting the elements of landscape – perspective, light and color in the drawing or painting media of your choice. Lizzi believes that the making of art should be joyful. Workshop activities are paced to relax the novice and refresh the experienced painter. All experience levels and all drawing or painting media are welcome. (A materials list will be provided upon registration.)
